The lack of hemoglobin in the blood, deprives the body of oxygen that is essential to survive. HEMATONIK will help the metabolism palliate the deficiencies and problems inherent to anemia. Its great characteristic consists in acting effectively and quickly without, however, causing constipation. Moreover, it is highly available.

HEMATONIK may help fight anemia.

  • Feel weak, lack  energy or those who are recovering from an illness;
  • Suffer from chronic hemorrhages (blood loss);
  • Follow a vegetarian or vegetalian diet;
  • The elderly who have difficulty absorbing food  produced iron.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Keep out of reach of children.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Consult a health practitioner in case of edema or a disordered metabolic state (Wilson’s disease);
  • Cease the use and consult a health practitioner if the symptoms persist or if undesirable effects should occur.
  • This product is inadvisable in case of bowel obstruction, cancer or skin infections;
  • Avoid consuming with any kind of tea 1 hour before or 1 hour after taking Hematonik. It may affect iron absorption.

MEDICINAL INTERATIONS

  • Decreases therapeutic effects of Levodopa (Parkinson’s Disease), phenytoin (epilepsy);
  • Interaction with tetracycline, corticosteroid, hypotensive agents (increases the effects);
  • Potentiates the effects of anti-inflammatory and sedatives medications;
  • Increases the diuretic and laxative effects. A dose adjustment is necessary;
  • Additive effect to natural laxatives (senna, rhubarb, etc);
  • May increase the effects of cardiac anti-arrhythmic agents through intervening with intracellular K+ level;
  • May reduce the absorption of certain medications because of its laxative effects;
  • The simultaneous intake of amiodarone (cardiac arrhythmia) can increase the risk of photosensitivity;
  • Vitamin C (more than 1000 mg per day) may interact with Warfarin (Coumadin®, anticoagulant) by reducing its absorption;
  • In the event of serious disease or consumption with other medications, do not take this product without the consent of an expert healthcare professional.

SIDE EFFECTS

  • Reddish-brown urine coloring;
  • Abdominal cramps, nausea, diarrhea and hyperkalemia (high potassium concentration in blood) if used in very strong doses;
  • Occasionally, temporary skin eruptions due to vitamin B6, in the form of vasomotor flushing: redness of the face and neck and a burning sensation in the hands and feet.

SPEED OF THE EFFECT

  • The effect that is immediately felt after absorption, may cause a short-term skin reaction, similar to an allergy such as redness on the trunk, face, neck and limbs. This reaction is unpleasant, but is not dangerous and is temporary. It is necessary to be patient as this effect will last from 5 to approximately 20 minutes;
  • After 1 week of treatment, fatigue will gradually decrease and after one month, you will feel a true difference. However, you should not stop using the product if, at the beginning of the treatment period you feel other symptoms such as accentuated paleness of the mucous membrane, palpitations, nervous or pulmonary disorders; because the short-term treatment, is at that time, only a temporaty source of the missing substances. A long-term use will fulfill the stockage zones;
  • In serious cases, with obvious complications, neurological symptoms will disappear at the end, after 6 months of continuous treatment.

SYNERGISTIC ACTIONS

This formulation acts on several levels because:
  • Iron, copper, vitamins B1, B6, B9 and B12 are crucial factors in the formation of red blood cells;
  • Several ingredients act interdependently: vitamins B6, B9 and B12 take part in the homocysteine metabolism. The homocysteine is an important aminoacid in the myelin production, which is some kind of an insulating sleeve around the nerves;
  • Copper and vitamin C are very good antioxidants;
  • In general, iron supplementation causes constipation. The addition of Cascara Sagrada has a laxative effect in our formulation, it prevents the appearance of this disadvantage, without modifying anything in the absorption of other components in our product.

This benefit is due to the actions of Cascara Sagrada on the colon by activating peristaltic movements, but not on the small intestines, where the majority of ingredients are absorb. Moreover, contrary to other laxatives, the absorption of rhubarb is not habit forming.
  • Stinging nettle and maca are great sources of trace minerals and vitamins of which are folic acid, B vitamins complex, iron and copper. They are important in the formation and the function of red blood cells and hemoglobin. These plants are also important energy suppliers, by decreasing the side effects due to anemia, fatigue or depression;
  • The stinging nettle contains a large concentration of gallic acid, which enables it to stop small hemorrhages associated with certain chronic diseases: uterine fibroma, gingivitis and gastric ulcers. It may be used during pregnancy and even during breastfeeding, thanks to its effect in supporting storage of vitamin K and in stimulation of lactation, while giving an extra dose of energy to new moms
Q.     Can pregnant women take Hematonik?

A.    In spite of contraindications due to incomplete scientific  researches on the subject, pregnant women may nonetheless take Hematonik. The nettle stimulates lactation,  maca is indicated during convalescence following a maternity. Folic acid is essential 1 month prior to, during and after pregnancy. The other vitamins and trace minerals are recommended after childbirth to regulate postpartum anemia.

Here are  the combinations of products suggested for individuals suffering from the following problems:

  • Anemics, especially those with sickle-cell anemia, should combine Hematonik with AntiOxy Bio . This treatment may be effective, considering that the effects of AntiOxy Bio could reduce the formation of high density cells and abnormal membranes. These cells tend to block blood circulation, therefore to cause typical pains associated with sickle-cell anemia phenomenon;
  • For both men and women and of various ages, anemia reduces the threshold of pain, interferes with the mechanism of thermal regulation, can possibly increase  hair loss, and affect the immune system which will make the body more vulnerable to infections. The combination of Hematonik with Immutonik  would have a beneficial effect, because Immutonik helps support the immune functions and prevent infections;
  • Considering that many anemias are associated with vitamin deficiencies, the combination of Hematonik with one of the products of the Energy Line would be beneficial:
  • Hematonik should be combined with B-Balance  to  help support energy levels and stress management;
  • Hematonik should be combined with Minero-Balance , as a qualilty supplement rich in vitamins and minerals. Its iron contribution will help reinforce the action of Hematonik to fight sideropenic anemia;
  • For anemic women, the combination of Hematonik and Vita Balance ♀, which is a food supplement adapted for the female metabolism, is recommended;
  • For anemic men, the combination should be  Hematonik and Vita Balance ♂ , which is a food supplement adapted for the male metabolism.
