Depression is a “holistic” disease: it affects as much the mood, thoughts and behavior than the biological functions. According to the Oxford Dictionary, “depression” is defined as a “mental condition characterized by severe feelings of hopelessness and inadequacy, typically accompanied by a lack of energy and interest in life”. Its duration is variable and its main characteristics are the reduction of tonus and energy levels. This pathology starts off by a difficult situation, and causes an intense and prolonged state of stress.
Experiencing profound dissatisfaction, depressive mood and difficult relationship with others? Neurotonik acts directly at the source of the problem. Depression is due to a disorder of the brain chemistry, i.e. a disorder in the production of neurotransmitters. Neurotonik allows to restore the cerebral balance and offers a long-term solution without dependence nor secondary reactions

Principal use

Neurotonik can helps to :
  • Reduces symptoms related to depression: seasonal, nervous, etc.;
  • Stimulates and regulates the natural production of neurotransmitters;
  • Helps fight anxiety.

Secondary use

Neurotonik can help to :
  • Increases energy level;
  • Increases tolerance to stress;
  • Helps to improve the quality of sleep.

SPEED OF THE EFFECTS

Neurotonik produces two types of effects:
  • A fast and almost immediate effect. It occurs half and hour to one hour after the first, second or third dose of the product. This effect is light, but perceptible. It decreases the feeling of sadness or blues which decreases during a few hours.
  • A long-term effect which passes through the rehabilitation of the brain. In a way, the brain relearns how to naturally produce the principal neurotransmitters implied in mood. Their production regulates to a normal level for the individual. Fatigue, insomnia, lack of concentration, loss of appetite, etc. are attenuated or disappear by this fact.

This product is intended for individuals suffering of light to moderate depression. Individuals suffering from severe depression or having suicidal tendencies must obviously initially be treated with medication.

Neurotonik is recommended to all those who:
  • Suffer from depression, depressive mood and anxiety and who do not appreciate the happy moments in life;
  • Must be weaned from a medication that alters neurotransmitters: medication, cigarette, alcohol, narcotics, sleeping pills, etc.
  • Suffer from a serious pathology or are recovering from injuries following an accident;
  • Have lost interest for any kind of activities, which they used to enjoy: leisure activities, sports, arts, etc.
  • Become abnormally a stay-at-home person and feel like doing nothing;
  • Live through very difficult and painful periods such as: death, job loss, divorce, serious illness, disabling accidents, etc.
  • Feel disillusioned facing their performances at work or at school, and are drastically moving towards depression, because of a total lack of interest.

Neurotonik will be effective for men as well as for women. Elderly who are bored and lonesome and have lost the will to live (neurotransmitters production can be affected by aging), those who lose weight without valid reason. All these people will fully profit from it.

SYNERGISTIC ACTION

A unidimensional action targeting only one neurotransmitter is not as effective as a global action implying several chemical messengers of the brain. There is more than 120 neurotransmitters, responsible of awakening, appetite, libido, mood, emotions, decision-making, thought, memory, etc This product acts simultaneously on 6 of the main neurotransmitters: dopamine (motor function), serotonin (the great inhibitor), GABA (relaxing agent), adrenaline (stress hormone), acetylcholine (memory agent) and noradrenalin (the carrot and the stick) i.e. the vasoconstrictor administrated in shock states, which no other chemical antidepressant currently does.

Moreover, Neurotonik reduces the harmful symptoms of depression, of which the cortisol production. Thus, it acts on the source of the problem.

Being adaptogens, plants entering in the composition of our product have multiple impacts on the chemistry of the brain. The raw substances contained in the aforementioned plants, provide to the brain the regulating factors necessary for the neurotransmitters production:
  • GABA (in the rice germ) and saponides (in the suma) limit the cortisol accumulation by inhibition (blockage) at several operation levels (see fig. 1)
  • Certain neurotransmitters act as stimulants, i.e. they produce depolarization. Some are inhibiting, i.e. they produce hyperpolarization. Others are either stimulant or inhibitory, depending on the receiver they interact with; this is the case with gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is a very widespread inhibitor in the neurons of the cortex, it regulates anxiety.
  • Rice germ and the griffonia fruits are suppliers of two essential intermediaries for all cerebral circuits (GABA and 5-HTP) implied in the regulation process due to stress. They act upon the serotonin production called pleasure hormone, and inhibit the harmful effects induced by cortisol superaccumulation.
  • 5-HTP increases the serotonin activity, the hormone produced in the brain which intervenes with mood, sleep and appetite. When serotonin rate is low, this leads to depression, worries and sleeping disorders. By its 5-HTP molecule, griffonia regulates the serotonin production which is responsible for good mood.
  • In addition, L-glutamic acid is the major excitant associated to learning and memory. It is a precursor of GABA.

Together, these elements regulate the release of neurotransmitters and their balance in the brain. The synergistic action allows to increase the quantity of neurotransmitters, which is too low in the brain, like serotonin and dopamine, and to decrease the amount of those in greater quantities (cortisol). Consequently, this formulation allows the brain to produce a homeostatic quantity of neurotransmitters in a good balance, and to regulate their natural and biological production without any long-term help.

Q. Does this product cause dependence?

A. Since its action is multiple, this product does not involve any form of dependence. To some extent, it rehabilitates the brain. In contrast to traditional antidepressants providing the brain with the molecules that it has stopped making, Neurotonik stimulates the natural endogenous production of the brain. In doing so, it is rehabilitating the brain. Therefore, it is not a “crutch” to depend on, but a long-term solution, allowing the individual to recover a balance in his brain chemistry. After a few months of use, this balance has returned to normal, and the patient does not need the product anymore.

This product cannot cause an addiction because the patient does not have to increase the dosage. The effectiveness of the product does not decrease with time. Indeed, the body cannot create dependence with the simultaneous reception of hundreds of molecules. The more there is molecular diversities, thus more active molecules, better is the absorption by the organism. Consequently, there will be fewer side effects, addiction, etc.

Q. Which therapeutic effects will I feel with Neurotonik ?

Neurotonik acts directly at the source of the problem, that is to say the disorder in the neurotransmitters production. Indeed, as mentioned above, depression just like the majority of the so called “mental” illnesses, finds its origin in the imbalance of the neurotransmitters production. Indeed, they act like chemical messengers of the brain. They are responsible for pleasure and positive perceptions of various life events. A reduction or suspension of the neurotransmitters production induces the symptoms of a nervous breakdown:
  • Rebalance of the serotonin production, by improving the positive feedback felt by the patient. Mood is thus improved;
  • Rebalance of the dopamine and noradrenalin production, by improving the energy level and positive feelings;
  • Stimulation of the 5-HT1A receptors. This stimulation has a beneficial effect. It attenuates depression, anxiety and obsessive thoughts;
  • Reduction in the cortisol level, resulting in the reduction of the harmful consequences of stress.

Neurotonik is non-addictive, since its action is multiple. To some extent it rehabilitates the brain. Contrary to traditional antidepressants providing to the brain the molecules which it ceased producing, Neurotonik stimulates the natural production of endogens of the brain, which is thus rehabilitated. Therefore, it is not a temporary support to depend on, but a long-term solution allowing the individual to regain an adequate balance in his cerebral chemistry. After a few months, this balance having returned, the patient does not need the product anymore.
