Male menopause (male climacteric) was, for a long time, ignored by medicine. Although different from female menopause, its symptoms: depressive mood, lack of energy, anxiety, etc., are as unpleasant. TESTO-TONIK limits the brutal reduction of testosterone and maintains its production at a higher level than the one it would normally reach.

PRINCIPAL USE

Testo-Tonik helps to:
  • Regulate the production and level of testosterone;
  • Prevent prostate hypertrophy;
  • Strengthen the male reproductive system;
  • Relieve the symptoms of depression and lack of motivation, related to the reduction in testosterone level.

SECONDAY USE

  • Support an active sexual life (aphrodisiac);
  • Improve the functions of the urinary system;
  • Increase energy level;
  • Improve mood.

Pharmacological activity

Recognized traditional use.

HORNY GOAT WEED (Epimedium Grandiflorum)

Origin: China
  • Increase libido (aphrodisiac) by stimulating the production of testosterone;
  • Divert circulation in the sexual organs (vasodilator effect).

TRIBULUS (Tribulus Terrestris)

Origin: India
  • Stimulate the production of testosterone;
  • Provide energy;
  • Regularize the sexual organs functions.

SAW PALMETTO (Serenoa repens)

Origin: USA
  • Reduce the size of hypertrophied prostate;
  • Regularize the sexual organs functions.

MACA (Lepidium Meyenii)

Origin: Peru
  • Regularize the hypothalamopituitary axis function and increase fertility;
  • Stimulate the production of steroids.

OAT (Avena Sativa)

Origin: Canada
  • Increase the testosterone rate;
  • Regularize the body’s functions during andropause (male climacteric).

CHRYSIN (Bioflavonoid)
  • Provide energy and act as an antioxidant;
  • Required for a healthy hormonal balance.

ZINC
  • Play a very important role in the reproductive system;
  • Implicated in the transport of liposoluble hormones.
Testo-Tonik can be used in several ways and on various occasions:
  • Prolonged use: take 1 ½ teaspoon (7,5 ml) daily for at least one month. Usually, the hormonal imbalance connected with male menopause can be spread over a period of a few months to 2 years. Every 3 months, it is necessary to stop the use of this product. If no symptoms associated to male menopause is observed, it is because Testo-Tonik is not necessary any more.
  • To give a “whiplash” and to re-balance the hormonal production: take 1 ½ teaspoon (7,5 ml) twice daily at least 20 minutes before or 1 hour after meals for, 2 to 4 weeks. Thereafter, follow the dosage for “prolonged use”.

How: Shake well and mix with juice.

* Refrigerate after opening.

Testo-Tonik is addressed to men:

In their forties who begin to feel the first effects of the reduction in their testosterone rate;
  • Between 40 and 60 years old, who are affected by male menopause, and who suffer from several symptoms connected to this state;
  • Who notice a reduction in their motivation, a need for increased sleep, a fall of the energy and libido levels, and a gain of weight.

The harbingers of male menopause are numerous. If three of the symptoms enumerated below are felt, there is a strong chance that the person is in male menopause:
  • Frequent fatigue that occur more quickly;
  • Weight gain, even if the person nourishes himself normally, and sometimes in lesser quantity;
  • Noticeable loss of muscular mass and physical force. The body becomes more flaccid, and it is more difficult to become or remain in shape. As the period of recovery is longer after physical exercise, the person is less inclined to practice physical activities;
  • Less mental acuity, and slower reaction to stimuli;
  • Increase in fat at the thorax and abdomen.

SPEED OF THE EFFECT

According to the degree of symptoms and the testosterone level, Testo-Tonik will have a slow or fast impact. When it is used at the beginning of the symptoms, one can see improvements within a few days. When the symptoms have been anchored for a few months and cause sexual problems, psychological effects etc., it will probably take 3 weeks to 3 months before seeing significant improvements.

SYNERGISTIC ACTION

The goal of Testo-Tonik is to prevent problems which frequently occur during male menopause. Saw palmetto showed its effectiveness to decrease pain, inflammation and hypertrophy of the prostate. It can function by inhibiting dihydrotestosterone (DHT), thus reducing the stimulation of cellular division. Saw Palmetto was used for several centuries and is recognized for its light aphrodisiac effects. It can increase the production of sperm as swell as sexual vitality. It decreases DHT (male hormones which stimulate prostate growth) concentrations in hypertrophied tissues of the prostate in treated patients.

It can also be observed of a marked reduction in epidermal growth factors; a reduction associated with the reduction of DHT. These biochemical effects similar to those obtained with Proscar, are particularly obvious in the peri-rectal areas, where hypertrophy is responsible for most of the urinary obstructions seen in prostate hypertrophy. Studies in which saw palmetto is used to treat prostate hypertrophy indicated clinical advantages such as:
  • Reduction in nocturnal urinary urges;
  • Increase in urinary flow and reduction in residual quantity of urine in the bladder;
  • Relief to uncomfortable symptoms at urination.

Tribulus sterols are used as a tonic to increase the energy level and to treat male sexual dysfunctions caused by hormonal imbalance. Some European studies suggest that the tribulus extract could increase testosterone level from 30 to 50% above the average, but always within normal limits. This natural increase is progressive and natural; it stimulates the testicles in order to increase their production of testosterone.

The epimedium with its powerful alkaloids, has practically the same effect as tribulus. While working with these two families of molecules, tribulus sterols for the tribulus, and alkaloids for epimedium, it is possible to preserve a lasting effect without unfavorable reactions or adaptation by the body. The impact of these two plants is important and can be observed very quickly.

Being a powerful antidepressant, mucuma is regarded as having a decisive action towards anxiety and depression. It is possible that this plant stabilizes and regulates the production levels of testosterone. It contains L-dopa, an important precursor to dopamine. When the level of this neurotransmitter is higher in the brain, the concentration improves and a sense of wellbeing settles in. Dopamine has mainly a psychological and behavioral effect on the natural progressive symptoms of aging. In synergy with the maca, the mucuma regulates the function of the hypothalamo-hypophyseal axis. They are thus responsible for the central production control of the male sex hormone: testosterone.

Acting on various levels, zinc, which is used in the circulation, oats in blossom and tribulus used in the production, these components of the formulation will regulate the circulation and the rate of testosterone in the blood.
Testo-Tonik also contains minor amounts of soy isoflavones. They help in the assimilation of calcium by a factor of 20, in order to help prevent osteoporosis. Isoflavones are known to balance sex hormones by regulating only their levels.

Q. Is male menopause a new phenomenon?

A. Yes and no. In fact, male menopause was described for the first time in medical literature, during the forties. It is thus not something new. On the other hand, our capacity to diagnose it correctly is practically something new. Sensitivity test for testosterone bioavailability has not been available until recently and this is why male menopause has been under-diagnosed, misdiagnosed and sometimes ignored for so long.

Question: Are hormone replacements a better choice?

A. Currently, hormone replacement therapy cannot be recommended without restrictions. Only small scale clinical studies have been undertaken. The anticipated risk of cardiovascular and prostatic complications is not yet well defined. Large double blind studies with a placebo group will be realized to clear up this question, in order to document the risks and benefits of androgen supplements prescribed to aging men.
